Bathing Baby

fist apo during the first couple of months because I was afraid of dropping the slippery baby. From experience, here’s a guide on how to bathe your baby, keep the room warm. Prepare everything you need before undressing your child. The thing you will need include a basin for the water, a washcloth, mild baby soap, a bath towel, the baby’s fresh clothes, and water of the right temperature. If you use creams and lotions, keep them nearby. If you are bathing the baby on a surface above the floor, use a safety strap or keep one hand on the baby at all times so your baby does not fall. If your baby does not enjoy the water, keep the baths as brief and gentle as possible. But if your baby enjoys the bath, give her extra time to splash and explore the water. You can even give her toys to play around with, for example, containers, floating toys like rubber duck, and water proofs books. This way, you lengthen the bath bath time and have the child association bath with fun and play.
Note:
Special babies.
For premature, small babies, and high risk babies o those from the intensive care unit, daily bathing is not necessary. And for the first few weeks, cleaning only the face, hands, and diaper area is probably sufficient. If bath time is upsetting to the infant, keeping her T-shirt on during the bath may have a quieting effect.
